Default 500K unit module order

I heard a mention fairly recently that Siemens had received an order for 500K TC65 modules. Is this true? Does anyone know the particulars or have a link to a story about it?

I read an article about this several months ago and was able to dig up a link to Astrata:

Astrata - Telematic Solutions - Astrata Contracts With Siemens Wireless Modules to Purchase More Than 500,000 GSM Modules

That's pretty insane and maybe good news for Java programmers!

Yeah, the Calamp LMU-1000 is also based on the TC65, so I think the use of java in the embedded device world is on the rise again.

Yep, the use of java in the embedded device world is rising. Sierra Wireless has also announced a device with a java µprocessor on board...

Do you have any more information about the Sierra Wireless Java module? I'd like to know more about the technical details if there's any information that can be publicly shared.
