I just saw this forum and decided to check out Mango M2M for the first time. It looks like a very cool concept and is there an online demo? Also, does Mango support any GPS tracking devices such as ones manufactured by CalAmp or Enfora? Can I post data into the system over HTTP and is there a specific protocol for that?

We have a 'demo' system running, but it is also a test bed so we don't normally make it publicly available.
Mango does in fact accept data over HTTP. Data can be send via GET or POST methods, and a very simple parameter naming strategy is used allowing funneling into multiple points, and allowing timestamp overrides. Device id specification allows the distinction between otherwise identical hardware. Also, IP address white-listing provides protection from malicious behaviour. We have not tried connecting Mango to CalMap or Enfora equipment, but we are certainly available to provide support to users who want to. Best regards, Matthew Lohbihler Serotonin Software |

Mango uses a contextual documentation system so that the information you need is where you need it. No manuals to pour over.
The documentation itself is continuously being updated and expanded, and because it is online you always see the latest version. So if you don't see the answer you need, just let us know.
