Default Firmware and board versions

The downloads page for the COM1000 lists different firmware for boards with different revs (.23, .27, .29). How do you determine what rev the board is? Is this on a label somewhere?

If you look at the firmware rev - it should indicate the version.
C1000.23.0133
C1000.27.0133
C1000.29.0133

Default Firmware versions

If you connect to the device with the configuration utility in the Firmware box you will see something like this COM1000.2007.29.133. So if you break it down you get Device.YearOfChange.HardwareRevision.FirmwareVersi on

Simple? Yes?

The truth of the matter is the current hardware platform (.29) has been shipping for several years, so the likely hood of having to update an earlier device is slim.
